- Many people ask us the difference between Tazo Chai Tea compared to Oregon Chai Latte. We tell them the Tazo Chai Tea is a traditional tea taste with unique spices. The Oregon Chai Latte is a cross between a traditional coffee with heavy latte cream with a tea base. The Oregon Chai Latte is a great morning tea, especially for those chilly morning when you need a strong tasting drink. Tazo Chai Tea is when you are in the mood for a straight tea with some stronger than usual spices but without the calories in a Chai Latte.
- We enjoy both teas at different times of the day and week. Some people like our co-workers at the office start every day with a Chai Latte and wouldn't think of anything else. We prefer the Tazo Chai Tea later the day when we want a relaxing tea but still with some stronger spices than say a green tea or a regular black tea like an Early Grey.
- Tazo's teas are always a little stronger and have a fuller taste from most other tea makers and has a wide variety of teas from Earl Grey to the Tazo Organic Chai tea.
- Oregon Chai Latte tea specializes in their chai latte tea's and do not carry a wider variety of other teas. When we drink Oregon Chai Latte tea, we think of our times trekking in the Himalaya mountains and the getting a nice warm mug of chai latte after a long day's hike.
- Tazo tea also has a Chai Latte concentrate which we haven't tried but look forward sampling over the holiday season.
